5. The Alamar Blue reagent is an oxidized form of redox indicator (resazurin dye) that is blue in color and non- fluorescent (A600). When incubated with viable cells, the reagent changes color from blue to red and becomes fluorescent (As7o). By means of 2 spectrums, wavelengths from 400 - 700 nm, show this spectra shift (you can use arbitrary absorbance values). (4)
