Determine the net thermodynamic work (W) done by an engine in a cycle in which 17 moles of an ideal monatomic gas is compressed isothermally at 300 K and expanded isothermally at 554 K. The minimum and maximum volumes are 2 litres and 8 litres, respectively. The other two processes that complete the cycle are isovolumetric and can be ignored.
