With solutions
1 Roger dives horizontally with a velocity of 3.6 m/s. He has a mass of 75 kg.
Find the mass of the boat if the recorded recoil velocity is 1.8m/s.
2 A 5g pellet is compressed against a spring in a gun. A gun has a mass of
300g. The spring is released and the speed of the recoiling gun is 8m/s.
The gun can fire 10 pellets per second. Find the force these pellets make
on a target
