Lab B: Measuring Quantities in a Parallel Circuits Procedure: 1. Build a parallel circuit with two batteries, two light bulbs, and a switch. 2. Comment on the brightness of the bulbs. Measure the current in the circuit next to the battery and record it in your data table. The ammeter must be hooked up in series within your circuit. 3. Measure the voltage across one of the light bulbs and record it in your data table. The voltmeter must be hooked up in parallel within your circuit. 4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 by adding a third bulb. Data Table: Current & Voltage in Parallel Circuits Circuit Brightness Current (A) Voltage (V) 2 bulbs N 3 bulbs
