The figure shows an RLC circuit that is driven by an emf source of fixed amplitude Em. Initially the circuit consists of one resistor of resistance R, one inductor of inductance L, and one capacitor of capacitance C, and the driving frequency matches the natural frequency. Then switches S1, S2, S3, and 54 are closed, in that order. The closings bring in capacitors identical to the first one or resistors identical to the first one. Let &m= 14.0 V, C = 2.10 UF, L = 2.08 mH, and R = 15.10. (a) Fill in the first blank column of the following table with the values of the equivalent capacitance Ceg of the circuit after each switch closing. Similarly, fill in the other columns with values for (b) the resonance frequency f. (c) the equivalent resistance Req; (d) the impedance Z, and (e) the current amplitude I. (Avoid rounding off the numbers until all calculations are finished.) w R w R 크리 Sy w R c C Closing Ceg microF f. kHz Req; Ohm Oh 1, А $1 4.20 1.70 15.1 i 15.1 i 1.08 S2 5.25 1.52 15.1 i 15.1 i S3 5.25 1.52 7.55 i 7.55 i S4 5.25 1.52 5.03 i 5.03
