Question 1 Consider a system that contains air, initially has a volume of 0.5 m'. The system expands isobarically at 50kPa. If the amount of work involved during the process is 60 kJ, and the mass of air is 2 kg, calculate the final temperature of air. Question 2 Saturated vapor of Refrigerant 134a contained in in a piston-cylinder device undergoes an isothermal compression such that 65% of the total mass has condensed. a. State the quality at final state b. Find the specific volume of the system at final state c. If temperature of the system is - 16 °C, calculate the amount of specific work (kJ/kg) during the process. Show the process on a P-v diagram with respect to saturation lines.
