Wight's 10-1, Page 494. A five-span one-way slab is supported on 12-in wide beams with center- to-center spacing of 16-ft. The slab carries a superimposed dead load of 10 psf and a live load of 60 psf. Using fe' = 4,000 psi and f = 60,000 psi, design flexural reinforcement for the slab. Check shear capacity for the slab.
