Blood has a viscosity of 3 mPa.s, a density of 1050 kg/m3 and the flowrate through the capillary is Q = 6 x 10-6 mL/min. The pressure at the arterial end of the capillary is 4 kPa greater than that in the surrounding interstitial fluid. The ideal gas constant is 8.314 kJ/mol/K, and the body temperature is 310 K. The concentrations of various molecules in the blood and interstitial are given in the table below.
