Question 3: Angle of list (15 marks) A partially loaded ship has a displacement of 12,500 tonnes, KM = 7.2m and KG = 6.5m. The vessel is currently listed 3 degrees to starboard and will have a displacement of 13,500 tonnes when fully loaded. There is space available in holds on both sides of the vessel, which have centres of gravity 7m port and 5m starboard of the centreline respectively. Assuming that KM and KG do not change, determine how you would load the remaining cargo to complete the loading with the ship in its upright position.
