Your Degrees Of Freedom (DOF) in designing this part are the material selection and slight modification in overall shape without changing the dimensions, which are shown in the first figure Task 1: Start with Gold for the material, simulate the problem, report the results and the critical regions (regions for them the safety factors are below zero) Task 2: Refine the mesh for the surfaces that are more critical in this problem (use finer mesh), simulate the problem and report the results for the critical regions Task 3: Your DOF in this design problem are the material selection, and slight change in the overall shape of the part, without changing the dimensions, shown in the first figure. Change the design parameters (DOF) to have the MINIMUM safety factor of 1 for this part (if it is possible to be greater than 1). Explain the process in detail.
