(a) Consider the two schemes below. Scheme 1: A = +1, +3,+5, +7 and Scheme 2: A = 2,4,6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16. If the BER for Scheme 1 is 10-5, what is the BER for Scheme 2? [3 marks] (b) Calculate Ep (average energy per bit), respectively, for both schemes in (a). [3 marks] (As always, assume a 11 load resistance.)
