A full-bridge switch mode inverter produces a 60-Hz voltage across a series RL load using bipolar Pulse Width Modulation (PWM). The switching frequency is 1650 Hz. The dc input to the bridge is 500 V; the amplitude modulation ratio me is 0.8. The load has a resistance of R = 10 ohm and series inductance L= 30 mH. (4 marks) (2marks) Explain using suitable diagrams the concept of bipolar PWM. Determine the frequency modulation ratio Determine the amplitude of the 60-Hz component of the output voltage and load current. (4 marks)
