Design a basic DC power supply (no regulator) that plugs into a
common outlet and supplies 5V (±100mV maximum variation) DC to the
output (RL = 10kΩ). Explain the importance of the missing
regulator using an output switch (RL = 10 Ω) as an
example. You do not need to use components with commercial
values. (Just the second part of the question)
