1.2 A small rural community has 15 houses clustered together, each connected to a 16kVA single phase supply at 240V. The typical load variation during the day of this community per house is as shown in Table 1 below. The electricity account for this community is paid by the community leader, who wants to know which tariff is cheaper between Landrate 1 and Landrate 4 tariffs as shown on table 2.
