A digital lowpass filter is designed using bilinear transformation on an analog filter with the following requirements. Passband edge frequency 4kHz Passband ripple S 1dB. Stopband attenuation 40dB Stopband edge frequency 6kHz. Sample rate=24kHz Considering the sampling time Ta = 1sec a. Determine what order of Butterworth and Chebyshev analog design must be used to meet the specification of the digital filter. b. Sketch the magnitude response of Chebyshev filter. Indicating all important parameters.
