A retail company selling various range of product such as attire
( women attire, men attire, kids attire), toys, electronics, books,
and groceries. The company have 3 branches across the country
namely in Ampang, Shah Alam and PJ. The company started their
business in year 2010 with only 2 branches in Ampang and Shah Alam.
Initially these two branches are selling attire, toys and
electronic range. Starting from year 2013 the company opened a new
branch in PJ with books and groceries range. In year 2015, Ampang
no longer selling attire range but has been replaced by
groceries.
Based on the above, explain the concept of classification
hierarchy and schema versioning and draw a proper schema to capture
changes over time.
