A number is deficient if the sum of its proper factors is less than the number. For example, the proper factors of 4 are 1 and 2. Since 1+2 = 3 < 4,4 is a deficient number. What other numbers less than 25 are deficient? b. A number is abundant if the sum of its proper factors is greater than the number. Which numbers less than 25 are abundant? c. A number is perfect if the sum of its proper factors is equal to the number. Which number less than 25 is ? SET perfect?
