Let 𝑓 : 𝐴 β†’ 𝐡 be a function and 𝐢 βŠ‚ 𝐴. Prove, or disprove and
salvage: 𝑓 (𝐴 \ 𝐢) = 𝑓 (𝐴) \ 𝑓 (𝐢). Disprove and salvage means that
if the statement is false, then find a counterexample, add a
hypothesis on 𝑓 to make the statement true, and prove the revised
statement.
