A claim is made that a population mean is at least 8000. A
random sample of size 25 has a sample mean of 7700 and a sample
standard deviation of 450. Assume the population is normally
distributed. At a = 0.01, what can you conclude about the claim?
Use your rejection method to determine what is necessary to make a
decision regarding the null hypothesis.
