Specify both a research and a null hypothesis. Then
describe and provide an example of a Type I Error. Describe and
provide an example of a Type II Error.
Do NOT use a courtroom analogy... but
rather a research example (that you made up).
With Alpha set to .05, would we reduce the probability of
a Type I Error by increasing our sample size? Why or why not?
How does increasing sample size affect the probability of
Type II Error?
What do you understand best about hypothesis testing, and
what do you still find fuzzy?
