Assume the following table lists campaign donations (in
thousands of dollars) by lobbying firms in a recent state election
and the overall percentage of votes received by those campaigns in
the election: Donations 11.3 51.2 17.3 4.9 13.6 20.5 Percentage
31.2 13.8 65.8 48.3 75.4 14.1
Does a strong linear correlation exist between campaign
donations and the percentage of votes received? How do you know? If
a strong linear correlation exists, answer the following: a.) If a
lobbying firm donated $50,000 to a campaign, what percentage of the
vote should she expect to receive? Also, is this interpolation or
extrapolation? Why? b.) If a campaign received a quarter of the
votes, what would you expect the campaign to have received
