A commuter must pass through 3 three traffic lights on her way to work. For each light, the probability that it is green when she arrives is 0.60. The lights are independent. a. Let X=1 denote that one light is green. •X follows a poission 4 X distribution. b. What is the probability that all lights are green? •Let Y be the number of lights that are green. Y follows a Bernoulli * distribution. •P(Y=3)= 0.216 c. The commuter goes to work five days per week. Let Z be the number of times out of the five days in a given week that all the lights are green. Assume the days are independent of one another. What is the distribution of Z? Z follows a Binominal distribution. •Find P(Z=3)= 0.0619
