Also, two more vectors are defined as a =-u-v+w and b =u-v+w a. Is the set {a, b, u} linearly independent? Show the work needed to reach the conclusion. In other word, prove using the definition of linear independence. (4) b. Is the set {a, b, v} linearly independent? Show the work needed to reach the conclusion. (3)
