Consider a stepped frequency pulsed waveform X-Band (unmodulated) radar which has 10km range nad radar range resolution is 0.5m and HRR profile extend is 100m. Locate the radar at the center of coordinate system and place equal amplitude Ns point scatters located randomly distributed in profile extend centered 5km range with different velocities and directions. Analytical model could be written in 2D or 3D coordinate system. 1) Express the received down converted quadrature components of reflected signal from point targets. Ns may be 5 (less than 10) 2) Determine Np in each burst, stepped frequency Af and other parameters. 3) Plot the collected down converted sample values 4) Plot the inverse discrete Fourier transform amplitude i)For different target distribution cases in and out of profile extend ii)For different velocity cases (slow and fast targets)
