B i), ii) & iii) please. Many thanks.
Task 4: a) Consider the equations for the following two ac voltages measured with an oscilloscope in a small power station in Chatham: vl = 1200sin (100rt) and v2 = 750sin (100 rtt + 1/3) 1) Using algebraic, graphical and by phasor diagram methods, add and subtract these two signals Give your answers in the form Vsin (@to). ii) Estimate the error margin between the different methods and present your result in an easy-to-interpret format iii) Give at least two reasons for any discrepancies in the results b) Assuming that the circuit in the above resulted in an alternating voltage V2 when a supply voltage V1 was connected to the circuit such that V1= 1100 sinot volts and V2=650 cosot. Using a 0.5ms interval in MS Excel, show the complex waveforms produced by adding and subtracting both signals: i) V1+V2 and measure the peak value and phase angle ii) V1-V2 and measure the peak value and phase angle iii) Use compound angle identity to express the V1+V2 in the form Vcos(wt-Q) and compare your results in (i).
