The Project Mars database, which covers all conventional wars that started between the year 1800 and 2011, lists 201 wars that started between 1800 and 1950 and 49 wars that started between 1951 and 2011. The following table lists the biggest 11 wars in the database where size is measured by the number of warring parties. (Most warring parties are countries but many are things like rebel groups that aren't representing established countries).
