A binary communication channel has a channel matrix expressed by: [P(Y | X)] [17 pp 0 0 p1 р where X = [X1 X2] and Y = [yı Y2 y3]. = (i) Draw the channel diagram. = (ii) Assume p 0.15 and the first source output has the probability P(x1) = 0.35, determine the probabilities of all the channel outputs. (iii) Assume with probability p the channel outputs an unintelligible symbol. Discuss the difference between this channel and the binary symmetric channel (BSC).
