A5. An elevator is driven by a 380 V, 50 Hz, 1480 rev'min, 4-pole, star-connected three- phase induction motor with variable voltage variable frequency (VVVF) controller. The motor has a rotor resistance and reactance 0.250 and 0.80 respectively. If the motor nins at 560 rev/min and the supply frequency is reduced to 35 Hz, by neglecting the stator impedance, evaluate (a) the slip, 6) the rotor curent, and c) the motor output torque.
