The total stator copper loss and core loss is 600 W. If the rotational losses absorb a torque of 15 Nm, evaluate (1) the slip. (i) the motor speed in rev/min, and (iii) the motor input power. (1 mark) (4 marks) (5 marks) (6) A shunt D.C. motor is connected to a 200 V D.C. supply, and the motor draws an armature curent of 15 A at 200 rev/min. If the armature resistance is 0.52, evaluate 1) the back e.m.f. induced on armature, the mechanical power developed by the motor, and the motor speed in rev/min if the torque is reduced by 40%.
