The Goshute Valley in Nevada has some basin fill unconfined
aquifers that are pumped for farm and agriculture water use, but
receive little replenishment (recharge). In an area of 47,000
hectares, the groundwater pumping is about 11 million m3/year, and
the Specific yield is 0.08. Calculate the drop in the water table?
1 hectare = 10,000m2
