For a concrete form work design; what is the maximum spacing
(in) for sheeting supporting members, if the pressure on the
formwork is 450 psf, face grain perpendicular to grain and plywood
bending stress F’b = 1545 psi. The
plywood thickness is 1” and it is supported at four supports with
face grain perpendicular to span?
a. 15"
b. 16"
c. 18"
d. 20"
