A pickup truck is traveling along a straight flat highway at a constant speed of 10 m/s measured relative to the ground. A person standing in the flatbed of the pickup truck throws a ball into the air at an angle of 600 above the horizontal as measured relative to the truck and in line with the highway. A second person who is standing on the ground nearby observes the ball to rise vertically. Take the positive direction of the x-axis to point horizontally in the direction of motion of the truck and the positive direction of the y-axis to point straight up from the ground. Find the velocity of the ball relative to the truck in unit vector notation.
