Find the IV flow rate for the following daily maintenance fluid scenarios. Give the flow rate in ml/hr unless calibrated [microdrip (60 gtt/mL) or macrodrip (10, 15, or 20 gtt/mL)] IV tubing is being used in which case you should give the flow rate in gtt/min. Show your work and be sure to include the appropriate unit in your answer for full credit. 6) You are treating a patient who weighs 118 lb and had an oral intake of 200 mL. 7) You are treating a patient who weighs 34 kg and has an NPO order (no oral intake). The manually regulated IV is set up with microdrip tubing. 8) You are treating a patient who weighs 22 lb and has not taken any fluids by mouth. 9) You are treating a patient who weighs 40 pounds. The patient had an oral intake of 470 mL. The manually regulated IV is set up with 20 gtt/mL tubing. 10) You are treating a patient who weighs 7 kg and had an oral intake of 120 mL.
