I need a response to my classmate's post below. Thank you
Dear Claas;
What is Your Data Story?
• In Week 2, you predicted what the data might tell you. Has
your data analysis so far confirmed or refuted your hypothesis?
Explain.
My data analysis has so far confirmed my hypothesis. My
hypothesis was that the age and population number of the veterans
will be crucial since it will help predict the number of veterans
that might need nursing services. The demographic data of
Pennsylvania veterans especially the areas surrounding Philadelphia
city is has been handy in helping predict the number of veterans
available for our nursing home care services. since the data have
their age and their number which is one of the important data
element in predicting veteran needing nursing home care
services.
• For Act 1, briefly state the problem or opportunity and
explain how the data indicates its existence.
The opportunity is expanding of nursing services of the elderly
veterans at home. The data indicates its existence by showing there
are many elderly veterans in the average age of our in-house
residents. The data indicates existence of opportunity by analyses
(Duarte, 1). sThus, these veterans in the age at which they need
homecare nursing services are potential customers of our nursing
services.
• For Act 2, what processes need to start, stop, or be done
differently? What metrics will change when the problem is
solved?
The process that need to be done differently is the assigning of
shift to the nurses. The nurses will be required to have in-house
(resident) and field shifts. Because the nurse home care services
have to be provided. The metrics that will change is that the
working hours of nurse, they have to increase.
•For Act 3, what is your Point of View (POV) on how to move
forward? How did the data you found inform your POV?
My point of view to move forward is that the opportunity is
feasible. The data indicated that there are available potential
customers for our new nursing services to be provided to veteran at
their homes.
