(b) Assuming that rubidium atoms packed into the BCC structure as if they were hard spheres, estimate the radius of a rubidium ion. [4] (c) Explain why each rubidium atom contributes a single conduction electron. [2] (d) Assuming that the behaviour of conduction electrons is described by the free electron model, calculate the mobility μ given that the resistivity p= 128 nm. [4]
