I don't understand these two exercises about basic physics:
EXERCISE 1:
A car is driving on a motorway in a straight line. At time t1=60
seconds, it is 2 km from the point where it merged. Its
displacement in the following five minutes is 8 km. How far is it
from the reference point at instant t2=360 seconds?
EXERCISE 2:
A mobile describes a uniform rectilinear motion whose equation
is x=30+4t, with the quantities given in units of the International
System. Calculate:
A) Its initial position and its velocity in m/s and
km/h.
B) Its position when 6 minutes have elapsed.
C) Its displacement between 10 and 40 seconds.
D) The time it takes to reach the distance of 50 metres to the
reference point.
