To test the hypothesis that 50% of those families who plan to purchase a vacation residence in Florida want a condominium, the null hypothesis is π = 0.50 and the alternate is TT #.50. A random sample of 100 families who planned to buy a vacation residence revealed that 48 families want a condominium. What decision should be made regarding the null hypothesis using the 0.05 level of significance? 1) Cannot accept it or reject it based on the information given. 2) Do not reject it. 3) Reject it. 4) Purchase a condominium.
