In the HW5, we have estimate the parameters assumes it is an AR(1) process using MLE method. Now, we diagnose the fit of an AR(1) model for these data in terms of the following tests: (a) Plot the residuals after the MLE estimation, and also plot the ACF of the residuals. Is there any correlations in the residuals? (b) Use Q-Q plot and Shapiro-Wilk test to check the normality of the residuals. (c) Check the independence of the residuals.
