A car factory, it has two manufacturing plants. Plant 1 produces x number of cars per week and plant 2 produces and number of cars per week. The total cost of manufacturing (in thousands of pesos) is given by
C(x, y)=2x2-120x+2y2-80y+10000.
If an order of 50 units must be filled, determine:
(a) the level of production providing a minimum cost,
(b) the value of such minimum cost.
(c) Justify and interpret your response
