A radial inflow gas turbine with dimensions shown is operated with the following parameters: To1-1111 K, Po1= 345 kPa, (upstream of nozzle). The rotor is spinning at co-15000 rpm. The relative flow enters the rotor perfectly radially. The absolute flow exits the rotor perfectly axially. The estimated nozzle and rotor loss coefficients are CN=.08, CR-.45. Using a meanline analysis, determine the expected a) mass flow rate, and b) output shaft power. Assume no flow incidence or deviation from the blade metal angles at the leading an trailing edges. Assume perfect gas air (y=1.4, R=287 J/kgK). 1 2 r2=12.7 cm b₂=5.08 cm 02=85° [m3=5.2324 cm Bm3=30° 12 b₂ 3 Ym3
