Why does my AC power supply of 12V and 5 Amps, overheat
when I set the voltage as (8V +). My circuit includes a
multimeter and this DIY transformer.
This is my power supply
Secondary coil (30 turns) Primary coil (60 turns of copper wire)
Dimensions 8cm Diameter 4cm Diameter (hole) 1.5cm Width Ferrite core 2 layers of electrical tape One layer attached to ferrite core Other layer on top of copper wire
