1. develop a MATLAB program that simulates the random lateral
diffusion of N integrins on the membrane of cells. Integrins in
your program will be defined by coordinates (X and Y) and state
(active or inactive) and they will move in a 2D domain while
switching between the two conformational states: inactive and
active. You will capture visually the motions and state transitions
by making a movie, in which integrins move in the domain and switch
color between green and red to indicate transitions between
inactive and active conformations.
