Given Q=200 kN, T=30 kN and My=12 kN-m (applied at centriod of the bolt group), it is required to: (1) Determine the design shear (Fv,Ed) and tensile (F₁,Ed) forces at the most critical bolt; (2) Check if the bending strength for the plate is sufficient according to EC3; (3) Check if the strength of welds is sufficient according to EC 3 using the simplified method.
