PROJECT QUESTION: You are required to choose an organization and
study that organization thoroughly for your write-up. You are
required to write a report regarding the chosen organization in
terms of the overall planning process, Managerial skills and roles,
internal and external environment, and the type of decision making
in the organization. The main body of the report should include the
following Discussion and Analysis; 1. Overall Planning Process of
the organization what is the mission statement? What are the major
organizational goal and departmental goals 2? Internal and External
environment Analysis of the organization. the organization of your
choice. (Use two elements for mega and two for task environment)
environment. 3. Roles and Skills of managers uired skills need at
that level. 4. Managerial Decision making. -crisis problem that
could happen in the organization. some examples of programmed and
non-programmed decision-making situations in the organization. HOW
TO WRITE THE PROJECT? Your write-up should clearly address the
various concepts and any other issue you perceive important to the

PROJECT OUTLINE AND GUIDELINES The project must include the

the aims and objectives for this project and not the organization.

of this write-up) 3.0 Background Discuss the background of the
organization or entity: include the name, what the business is
engaged in, the product and service, the total number of employees,
etc… ¾ to 1 page only. 4.0 Literature Review Research on different
authors' arguments (search and evaluation from other sources of the
available articles/journals/books in your given subject or chosen
topic area. It documents the state of the art with respect to the
subject or topic you are writing about. 5.0 Methodology In this
section students need to mention how they have collected the data
and information for their project. The secondary sources include
previous research reports, newspaper, magazine, and journal
content, and company information statistics – company brochures or
website, etc. With the current state of Fiji, you are encouraged to
use secondary methods of research only. 6.0 Analysis/Findings This
is the body of the project. You are required to answer all the
questions in relation to the selected organization or entity as per
the project question. It is highly recommended that you use
sub-headings in the body of the project. 7.0 Recommendations These
are your own recommendations to the organization or entity on how
it can improve its performance; solve and ameliorate any
discrepancies and problems that it is currently facing. If there is
a need for you to solve the case: how would you have handled it?
8.0 Conclusion A conclusion draws together and summarizes the ideas
and findings presented in the body of the project. 9.0
Bibliography/References You are required to use the Harvard style
of referencing as per Moodle. You must include all the references
cited in your analysis. Please note that the source of all
information and ideas that are not your own must be acknowledged
using standard conventions on referencing. Include all references
