The longest trip that Greg ever took was from Sao Paulo,
Brazil to Taipei, Taiwan. The trip had three legs: Sao Paulo to
Miami (6,562 Km) Miami to San Francisco (4,160 Km) and then San
Francisco to Taipei (10,400 Km). The total distance for that route
was 21,122 Km and the whole trip took 36 hours, but only 24 hours
were spent in the air (about 12 hours were spent waiting in the MIA
and SFO airports). A direct flight from Sao Paulo to Taipei – if
such a flight existed – would be 18,796 Km.
