Imagine that you are now tasked to help a ski resort manager forecast the number of visitors during the next ski season. A typical ski season lasts for 5 months from mid-November to mid-April. Each ski season consists of three stages: Off-peak, Shoulder, and Peak. The number of visitors can vary considerably across these three stages. Assume that the ski resort managers have provided you with a dataset of monthly visits for the past 5 years, please write down a regression equation to predict visits in a particular month t.
