Can someone help with this question with explanation for both
one-to-one and onto for each one!!
Let Z be the set of integers.
Let f and g be two maps
from Z to Z. Decide
whether f ◦ g is one-to-one
or onto and justify your answer.
(1) f(x) = 3x, g(x) = x8;
(2) f(x) = x + 2, g(x)
= x7.
