I A prismatic bar of length as seen in the Figure below is subjected to a temperature change of T = 111 °C. The thermal co-efficient of expansion or bar 1 is a, = 0.000012 m/°C and the thermal co-efficient of expansion or bar 2 is a = 0.000019 m/°C. The lengths and diameters of the bars are given in the Figure below. Calculate the total change in length due to the thermal load.
