Explain briefly the traditional automation pyramid. Why has the
classical so called “automation pyramid” have the shape of a
pyramid and why could that pose a problem to the implementation of
Cyber-Physical Production System (CPPS). What will be the main
changes if the “Cloud” replaces the “pyramid” and what are the
advantages and challenges? Add at least two examples of Cloud
applications specifically for Industry 4.
