proposal. Follow the steps below to develop your research
study question:
Ask – Consider your proposed research
topic and ask yourself what types of questions have arisen
from your experience with the chosen topic. Use
either the brainstorming or concept mapping process as you ask your
questions.
Illustrate – Illustrate the questions
asked in your brainstorming process by a table or other
type of infographic of your choice. If you chose
the concept mapping process, create a detailed concept map of
your questions.
Develop – Develop
your proposed research question by using either the EDP
or the PICOT framework.
Write – Write a 1- to 2-page summary
detailing your research question development process.
Identify the framework used to develop the research
question along with a detailed description of each step in the
process. Identify your final research question for your
proposed study and include a paragraph explaining the specific
aim of your proposed research study.
Submit
– Submit the brainstorming or concept
mapping illustration along with a 1- to 2-page summary
